Attività di ricerca
The Scientific research work of Franco Molinari dealt with five main topic:
1) some operational research problems, in particular discrete and continuous models for optimal machine substitutuion in a production system.
2) stochastic dominance, choice among random projects and related topics.
3) non linear utility theory, in particular SSB utility theory a la Peter Fishburn and the non additive probabilities approach involving choquet integrals.
4) decision-making problems in a fuzzy setting.
5) discrete time securities market models and measures of risk in financial markets.
